Flower Child

This piece was a deeply rewarding process. Using paste and fabric scraps as a foundation, I layered each petal of the flower—allowing for plenty of dry time—and added stones at the center, painted gold. The transformation from raw materials into something beautiful mirrors the journey of creation itself. Surrounding geometric shapes radiate vibrant energy, expanding outward from the flower of life. Life’s journey, with its questions and discoveries, leads us along varied paths—each outlined in indestructible gold, each ultimately returning to the center. This work is a celebration of life’s blessings and the beauty that emerges when we stay true to our hearts.
