Catharsis

This 18 x 24 abstract portrait was created to convey raw emotion, a process I deeply felt throughout its making. Begun months ago during a period of mental struggle, it reflects the anxiety and unresolved emotions from my past that were affecting my present. Through this piece, I explored acceptance, release, and the importance of allowing emotions to surface—whether through crying, laughing, or simply acknowledging what you feel. Holding emotions in creates stagnation; expressing them opens space for freedom, growth, and connection to the soul.
