One of the crucial oversights I've made in my past was to escape the darkness as though the shadows chasing me would take me in, place me into the box forever, this box was my fear, my ego. I never truly accepted the pain that festered deep within, as though I was looking into the depth of a black hole that I created in my mind. The void I was witnessing and living for so long sent myself into numerous spirals of self-loathing and pain. This was my ocean, my blue. I could feel as though times I was drowning or rising high above the breach of what seemed infinite in a feeling of bliss yet taken back under making this feel unreachable. We are all our own waves riding the open plains of sweet crisp ocean, yet with the closure of chapters we somehow fade back into the deep. Blended back into the current with all that is. Having to bear witness to what many never want to face but to grow and strengthen ourselves we must experience the vast deep, the connections of what is now, what is to be embraced instead of forgotten. The pieces of ourselves reflect from the wave of self and as we travel on, we build the light within the curl of our energies growing stronger and free. We mustn’t give up, we must stay connected to never forget what the feeling of unity and love is.
